Where do I leave my phone and other personal belongings?
What do you do with your valuables when you get into the boat? Don’t worry: with us, nothing falls by the wayside (and so far nothing has ever gone missing either!).
Option 1: Leave them with the driver, easy and safe
On Rur tours, you can safely leave valuables like your wallet, keys or phone with the driver. It’s the most convenient option, because your bags travel with the driver: you get them back at the break and at the end of the tour.
- One backpack per person is totally fine.
- You do not need a waterproof dry bag for this.
- We can’t accept liability, but: in over 30 years, nothing has ever been lost. And we want to keep it that way!
Option 2: Take them along, packed dry
Anything you want to keep within reach on the water, like a camera or snacks, is best packed in a waterproof case or pouch. With our rental without a guide, a small dry barrel is already included in the price.
Tip: Phones & co. don’t like taking a dip. If you want to play it safe, hand them to the driver or pack them well!
