As a canoe guide you can start with us from age 15 with your parents' consent. For anyone under 18 we follow the German youth labor protection rules on working hours and breaks. As a driver you have to be at least 18, because you need the trailer driving license (class BE).
Yes, our season is ideal for exactly that. Many on our team started out as school or university students. You can work specifically during the summer holidays or on weekends, and a holiday job from age 15 is possible with us as a guide.
Unter 18 Jahren bekommst du 11.00 € pro Stunde. Ab 18 Jahren verdienst du je nach Erfahrung und Rolle zwischen 13.90 € (gesetzlicher Mindestlohn) und 18.92 € pro Stunde. Bei rund 6,5 Stunden pro Einsatztag sind das etwa 72 bis 123 € am Tag. Die genaue Einstufung besprechen wir im Kennenlerngespräch.
We run from March to October, with a focus on weekends, public holidays and the summer holidays. A working day lasts about 6.5 hours. You work day by day on scheduled days, there is no fixed weekly schedule, and we coordinate your days with your calendar.
As a guide you should be a confident paddler and swimmer. Everything else, meaning safety on the water, group leadership and equipment knowledge, we teach you. As a driver you don't need to paddle, here what counts is the class BE license and reliability.
