What happens if we arrive late at the meeting point? Can we still join?

On a canoe adventure, time is precious! Please make sure you’re at the meeting point on time, ideally a few minutes early, so you can start the day relaxed and stress-free.

Arriving on time matters especially for our popular Rur tour:
The Rurtalbahn, which takes you from Zerkall to Heimbach, almost always runs on time and reliably gets you to the starting point in time, as long as you catch it. So better be on the platform a little early (the train always leaves Zerkall at xx:50), so you can arrive completely relaxed. Once you’re on the train, nothing much can go wrong and you’ll be with us on time!

What happens if you’re late?
If you get to the meeting point late (for example because you missed the train), we may unfortunately not be able to take you along, and your tour is forfeited. Our tours start on time. After all, we want everything to run smoothly for everyone, with nobody left waiting.

Tip if you’re running late:
If in doubt, call us right away! We might still be able to work some magic, but we can’t promise anything.

Missed the train or want to start in Heimbach?
No stress! Just drive to the paid parking lot “Über Rur” in Heimbach and take the train back after the tour.

In short:
Being on time counts. So set your alarm, leave in good time and make sure you catch the Rurtalbahn. Then your adventure on the water is guaranteed to work out!
