Which days do the tours run? On weekends too?
In short: there are no fixed days of the week. You simply pick your preferred date in the booking calendar, and yes, weekends are possible too.
Most of our tours take place from Friday to Sunday, because that’s when most people feel like getting out on the water. But dates during the week are possible too, depending on what’s currently available in the calendar.
When is the season?
- Heimbach Reservoir: early April to the end of October
- Rur tour: July 15 to the end of October
You can always see which days are available, updated daily, in the booking calendar. The earlier you book, the more choice you have.
Your preferred day isn’t in the calendar?
No problem. If there’s no scheduled tour on your preferred date, you have two options in the booking calendar:
- Send inquiry: Choose your preferred date and send us a non-binding inquiry. We’ll check whether we can make a tour happen on that day and get back to you promptly.
- Join as a fellow paddler: Sign up for your preferred date for free and with no obligation. As soon as enough fellow paddlers come together for the same day, we organize the tour and invite everyone who signed up.
That way no preferred date gets lost: either we find a suitable date for you right away, or you’re in as soon as enough fellow paddlers have signed up.
