Can I have a snack or a little picnic along the way on the Rur tour?
Yes, a proper break is a fixed part of the Rur tour. Along the way, we stop for about half an hour on a meadow in Blens. The perfect moment to eat and drink something in peace.
And the best part: you don’t have to lug anything along. We bring your personal belongings straight to the break spot in Blens in our van. They’ll be waiting for you there while your hands are free on the water.
Kanu Petry tip:
A thermos of coffee and a filled roll, enjoyed during the break on the meadow with a view of the water: pure paddling bliss. 😋
But watch out:
There’s no snack bar, kiosk or any other place to get food, not along the way, not at the break spot and not at the take-out. So it’s best to bring whatever you’d like to enjoy yourself, and we’ll take it to the break in Blens for you.
And please remember: don’t leave any trash behind, so the Eifel stays beautiful for the next paddlers too!
