Is there somewhere to get changed or take a shower before or after the tour?
Of course! We won’t make you trudge through the Eifel in your soggy paddling look!
Before the tour:
No stress: at the start of your canoe tour you have plenty of time to get changed. It’s your free time, not a race! There are clean public restrooms at the tourist information office at Heimbach station, where you can comfortably slip into your waterproof outfit.
After the tour:
At the end of your paddling action, you can get changed in comfort at the Kanutenhaus, so you step out of your adventure dry and civilized again. And if you like, you can even take a shower there for a really small fee. Freshening up deluxe for very little money!
For the really tough ones among you:
If you’re in a hurry or like to keep it old school, you can of course also change right by or in your car. A bit of outdoor feeling never hurts. 😉
